The Quest for the Golden Fleece

Many people around the world are well acquainted with the Greek myth of Jason and his search for the golden Fleece. 'Part one' of this pictorial story tells the familiar tale of a young man who goes on a journey to reclaim his homeland.

If the first part of Jason's story was an action/adventure, the second part is most certainly a dramatic thriller that ends in great tragedy. This darker side to the Greek epic explores several grim subjects including betrayal, revenge and parricide (the killing of one's close relatives).

The historical truths behind 'the Golden Fleece' suggest there was more to this story than pure fiction. In my retelling of this classic myth expect covert piracy, secret sororities and the greatest heist of Bronze Age never told.
